Justin Timberlake walks to golf lessons in NYC after Hamptons DWI arrest
Justin Timberlake went for a “drive” again — but not one that required him getting behind the wheel.
In photos exclusively obtained by Page Six, the pop superstar, 43, was seen walking to golf lessons in New York City Thursday while on break from his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.
Timberlake just performed two nights in a row at Madison Square Garden, where his wife, Jessica Biel, was seen supporting him from the audience.
The “SexyBack” crooner is set to go to Boston next but decided to squeeze in some time to practice his golf swing first.
He was photographed alongside a caddie strolling the streets of the Big Apple wearing a blue cap, a vintage Grateful Dead tour merch T-shirt, bright blue basketball shorts, sunglasses and sneakers.
We’re told Timberlake — who was arrested for a DWI in the Hamptons just last week — walked six blocks from his apartment to a golfing facility in lower Manhattan — avoiding driving himself to the venue.
According to New York law, a person who was booked for driving while intoxicated may have their license suspended for a minimum of six months or up to a year.
On June 18, Timberlake was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and two other traffic violations, including not stopping at a stop sign and failure to stay in a proper lane of travel.
His attorney, Edward Burke Jr., previously told Page Six exclusively that he looked forward to “vigorously defending” his famous client and that he would have “a lot to say at the appropriate time.”
Timberlake’s next court date is scheduled for July 26, but we were told the “Mirrors” singer is not required to be present for the procedural hearing.
In the meantime, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office has been conducting a full discovery on the incident.
Details about what allegedly occurred during the arrest leaked, though, including how Timberlake had “bloodshot” eyes, claimed to have had just “one martini” and allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test.
The New York Post also exclusively learned that a rookie cop — who did not know who the *NSYNC member was — gave him a warning at first before pulling him over minutes later.
Timberlake is seemingly being more of a rule-follower as he awaits his sentencing. Last week, he was brought back to New York City from the Hamptons via a personal driver.
