Inspire Nevada Athletics providing a youth gym to help build confidence and fitness in kids

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -Farrah and Greg Haugen have launched Inspire Nevada, a new youth fitness and tumbling gym in Reno. The gym is designed for kids aged 1-17, aiming to ignite passion and confidence. Inspire Nevada Athletics is now offering free fitness classes every Saturday at 10:45 a.m. the entire month of June!

With over 20 years of experience in coaching youth sports and personal fitness training, the Haugens saw a need for inclusive fitness options for kids who may not identify as traditional athletes. Inspire Nevada offers diverse programs, from sports performance and agility training to specialized classes like barre and yoga.

Their holistic approach includes nutrition planning, fun recipes, and personal life coaching for teens. The gym also offers homeschool fitness classes and Fit and Tumble sessions, combining fitness and gymnastics. Starting in the upcoming school year, Inspire Nevada will be an accredited alternative for Washoe County School’s PE credits.
