Inside Louis Vuitton’s Cruise show spectacle in Barcelona
The fashion set decamped to Barcelona for the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 show, marking Nicolas Ghesquière’s 10th Cruise outing for the French fashion house.
The show itself took place at Park Güell, the public garden and UNESCO World Heritage site created by Antoni Gaudí. “Even more than an architect, Antoni Gaudí is like a land unto himself that, to this day, continues to come into its own in the city of Barcelona,” explained the show notes. It was this sense of “legacy in constant mutation” that formed a central focus for the collection – and, indeed, is a fitting way to describe the house itself; a historic maison aiming for continuous reinvention.
Barcelona’s impact didn’t stop there: the 2025 Cruise collection was “steeped in the flourishing culture of Spain” – from the “passionate character” of the country and its vivid use of colour, to its ongoing celebration of tradition and artistic expression. “In sum: a style, an art of travelling, enriched by the specialness of a different land and the way one makes it one’s own; a journey of discovery.”
Enjoying this journey of discovery were the likes of Louis Vuitton ambassadors Sophie Turner, Léa Seydoux and Phoebe Dynevor, who all enjoyed front-row seats to the Spanish spectacular.
