I’ll be dissing you: Eminem shades Diddy and more on new album ‘The Death of Slim Shady’
He’ll be dissing you.
Eminem’s 12th studio album may be called “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” but Diddy is the one who gets destroyed by the rapper here.
On his first studio LP since 2020’s “Music to Be Murdered By,” the MC, 51, directs his vicious attack multiple times at the disgraced hip-hop mogul — who has faced allegations of rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment and sex trafficking in a string of lawsuits. Diddy has vehemently denied all of the allegations.
The first Diddy diss track is “Antichrist,” which references the horrifying hotel video of the former Puff Daddy, 54, beating his then-girlfriend Cassie.
“Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his ass beat worse than Diddy did/But on the real, though/She prolly ran out the room with his f–kin’ dildo/He tried to field goal punt her, she said to chill/Now put it back in my ass and get the steel toe.”
Next up in the Diddy dragging is “Fuel,” a collaboration with rapper JID that alludes to the sexual assault lawsuits.
“I’m like a R-A-P-E-R/Got so many S-As, S-As/Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he?” he asks, seemingly referring to the former stage name P. Diddy.
The track also alludes to rumors that Combs paid Tupac Shakur’s alleged killer, Duane “Keefe D” Davis, to murder him: “R.I.P., rest in peace, Biggie/And Pac, both of y’all should be living/But I ain’t tryna beef with him/’Cause he might put a hit on me like Keefe D did/And that’s the only way you’re gonna be killing me.”
The final Diddy dig happens in “Bad One,” which addresses claims of Combs allegedly having an explosive planted in Kid Cudi’s car while he was dating Cassie: “The f–king bomb with the Puffy on/I’m blowing up for Kid Cudi’s car/In front of his house where all his buddies are.”
Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, dated Diddy on and off until their split in 2018. She and Kid Cudi dated in 2012. In November 2023, Cassie claimed in her bombshell lawsuit against Diddy that the incident with Kid Cudi occurred.
“In February 2012… Mr. Combs told Ms. Ventura that he was going to blow up Kid Cudi’s car and that he wanted to ensure that Kid Cudi was home with his friends when it happened,” read court documents obtained by The Post. “Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.”
Through a spokeswoman, Kid Cudi confirmed Ventura’s account to the New York Times. “This is all true,” he said.
But despite all of the Diddy dissing on “The Death of Slim Shady” — which has been rumored to be Eminem’s final album — the two hip-hop icons collaborated on a remix of “Hello Good Morning,” from Diddy — Dirty Money’s 2010 album “Last Train to Paris.”
Diddy isn’t the only one who suffers the wrath of Slim Shady, Eminem’s alter ego going all the way back 25 years ago to 1999’s “The Slim Shady LP.” The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame rapper also rips into everyone from Kanye West and Ja Rule to Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion and Caitlyn Jenner.
There’s plenty of shade to go around.
