They started out as fitness buddies, now they’re loved-up parents.

Travis Barker (48) has opened up about how his romance with Kourtney Kardashian (45) went from exchanging health and wellness advice to wedding bells in Italy.

“It’s one of the main reasons we were so close, we would always work out together and run together or do stuff like that together,” he told People magazine.

“Before we were ever in a relationship, we were workout buddies forever.”

The couple welcomed their first child, Rocky, in November 2023 and they’ve been prioritising their mental and physical health with a healthy daily routine, says the Blink-182 drummer.

“We’ll do pilates together and we’ll carve out a half hour or an hour every day to go out,” he says.

The couple follow a vegan diet.

“We’re both really into wellness,” he says. “I introduced her to matcha back in the day and she’s introduced me to particular foods.”

Travis and Kourtney are also hands-on parents.

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney said she’s prioritised baby Rocky’s wellness with attachment parenting.

This parenting technique promotes physical closeness between mother and baby with extended breastfeeding and co-sleeping.

“In many cultures, women don’t leave the house after having a baby for 40 days to allow your body to have that time to heal,” she said.

“I’m really into attachment parenting – I really don’t separate from him.”

Kourtney, who has kids Mason (14), Penelope (11) and Reign (9) with ex Scott Disick, told Vogue that she also didn’t leave the house for 40 days after having Rocky, which helped her bond with him.
