GLENS FALLS — The Glens Falls Greenjackets are set to hit the road Saturday for a 7 p.m. New England Football League game at the Worcester Wildcats.
The Jackets are 0-2 and hoping to get their offense untracked and shore up their pass defense, which was victimized for three touchdowns in a 35-14 home loss to the Southern Vermont Storm on June 29.
Caleb Condon and John Styczynski connected on touchdown passes of 6 and 69 yards for Glens Falls in the first quarter, but the Jackets’ offense struggled after that, particularly only the ground.
Both teams had the league-wide bye for the July Fourth weekend. Worcester is 1-1, coming off a 40-35 victory over the Rhode Island Riptide on June 29.
