Samsung’s upcoming clamshell foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, will bring a lot of improvements over the Galaxy Z Flip 5, including a better design, less noticeable crease on the foldable display, a higher resolution primary camera at the rear, and a larger battery. However, the upcoming phone will also have one downside compared to the existing one, and that’s price. A new leak sheds light on the price of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 for the United States, and you are not going to like it.
According to @OnLeaks and SmartPrix, Samsung will launch the 256GB storage variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at USD 1,099 and the 512GB storage variant of the smartphone at USD 1,219. For comparison, the company launched the 256GB storage variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 at USD 999 and the 512GB storage variant of the smartphone at USD 1,119. So, both storage variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be USD 100 costlier than those of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. That’s bad news for prospective buyers.

Samsung’s not just increasing the price of the Galaxy Z Flip 6. It is also increasing the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Earlier today, we got to know that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will cost USD 1,899 for 256GB storage, USD 2,109 for 512GB storage, and USD 2,259 for 1TB storage.
