Florida’s new St. Regis Longboat Key Resort seeks to fill 400 jobs for summer opening

Renowned for its luxurious accommodations and world-class amenities, St. Regis hotels are located in some of the most prestigious destinations across the globe — soon to include Florida’s Longboat Key.

As the only St. Regis opening in the country this year, the 18-acre, St. Regis Longboat Key Resort is set to open this summer, offering accommodations, dining, shopping, a spa — and a 350,000-gallon lagoon reserve replete with stingrays, fish and tortoises.

And with reservations for October now open, the resort is actively recruiting applicants to fill over 400 open positions.

The property marks the largest development on Longboat Key in more than 50 years and observers say it’s set to become one of the country’s most luxurious beachfront resorts.

According to resort officials, they are seeking “enthusiastic individuals” to join the team, “with over 400 positions available ahead of its grand opening.”

The diverse array of roles available includes positions in administrative and operational functions, spread across the property’s various experiences.

In an email to media, resort management said that “opportunities include engaging with the lagoon wildlife encounters, facilitating activities at the Reef Rangers Children’s Club, delivering top notch service at The St. Regis Spa, showcasing culinary excellence at seven dining outlets and contributing to meetings and events spaces.”
