Flashback 10 Years Ago to the Spring 2015 Season of Menswear Milan Fashion Week
Everyone loves a good ol’ fashion flashback, right? Ahead of the upcoming Spring 2025 season of Menswear Milan Fashion Week, we’re throwing it back to Spring 2015.
Perhaps the biggest change when looking back to June 2014, is the creative directors behind each brand at the time. The most notable difference being Calvin Klein Collection on the schedule, with Italo Zucchelli at the helm of the iconic American fashion bible (who served as creative director from 2004 until 2016). Tomas Maier was at Bottega Veneta, who presented his collection inspired by dancers (including everyone from Nureyev to Baryshnikov). At Prada, Miuccia Prada served up a his-and-hers lineup while Milan Fashion Week staple Dolce & Gabbana were full steam ahead with their love for all-things Sicily, and honed in on the Spanish domination of the idyllic Italian island between 1516 and 1713. Inspired by a trip to Cuba, Donatella’s Versace collection was larger-than-life and full of all the iconic Versace symbols with hints of the Roman Empire splashed throughout.
