Finally We Are Learning Why Jamie Foxx Was Hospitalized

Jamie Foxx’s health scare last year was one of the biggest stories in entertainment. Everyone in the world was wondering what happened to the talented, singer, actor, and all-around entertainer.

Although he’s since doing much better and has a brand new obsession, it’s still mostly unknown what led to the “Beat Shazam” host being hospitalized over a “medical complication.”

But in a recent video that surfaced on social media Monday, Foxx is seen talking to a group of random people outside of a Phoenix-are restaurant, telling them the last thing he remembered before he was hospitalized.

Joxx is heard saying, “Look, April 11th last year, bad headache, asked my boy for an Advil. I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything.”

He continued, “I’m in Atlanta, they told me — my sister and my daughter took me to the first doctor. The next doctor said, ‘There’s something going on up there,’ while pointing to his head.”

Foxx then added that he wouldn’t exactly say what the doctors told him while being filmed on camera.

When it was announced by Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, that her father was hospitalized  in April 2023, she wrote on Instagram, “We wanted to share that my father Jamie Foxx experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily due to quick action and great care he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

Despite the updates from his family that he was in stable condition less than a month later, people on social media continued to theorize that something more severe mave happened to the actor, with a small group going as far to say that the Oscar winner died.

Thankfully, all of those rumors were shortly dispelled after Foxx spoke on his health in July 2023 and made his first major public appearance since his medical complication in December 2023.
