KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A local casting company is looking for extras to be featured in the upcoming Chiefs Hallmark movie being filmed in the Kansas City area.
Hallmark Media and the Kansas City Chiefs announced this week that they’re teaming up on a new holiday movie called Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
Wright/Laird Casting said they need extras over the age of 18.
Filming is scheduled to take place from July 6 to July 27 at Kansas City locations, including the iconic GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, marking the first time the Arrowhead has been used as a filming location in a Hallmark movie.

Tyler Hynes (Shifting Gears, Three Wise Men and a Baby), Hunter King (Two Scoops of Italy, The Santa Summit) and Ed Begley Jr. (Young Sheldon, Better Call Saul) will star in the new film.
The movie will center around a woman played by actress Hunter King and her want to get her family to win a fan of the year contest.
But that’s in the hands of the director of fans engagement, played by Hynes.
As they spend time together, things take a turn when a lucky Chiefs hat belonging to her grandfather, played by Begley Jr., disappears.
