Exclusive Hello Kitty Fashion & Accessories Collection Released by Popular U.S. Retailer Claire’s
Hello Kitty is receiving an extensive collection with the popular Chicago-based retailer Claire’s. The official collaboration features clothing, accessories, video campaigns and more to help celebrate Kitty White’s 50th anniversary in style.
Via a press release, Claire’s is partnering with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty for a major campaign featuring exclusive product drops, in-store celebrations, social media moments and CGI teasers. Officially titled, “Hello Kitty, Hello World,” the campaign celebrates the iconic character’s 50th anniversary, with the first product drop featuring red and white accessories like hats, purses, jewelry, backpacks, water bottles, phone cases and earrings. 3D artist Kirill Emelyanov created the “Hello Kitty, Hello World” teaser, with Claire’s EVP and Chief Merchant Officer, Claudia Lima-Guinehut, adding, “Throughout the year, Claire’s will continue to add to the excitement as the one-stop-shop for all things Hello Kitty, celebrating with new moments, product launches and programming. The new product range continues Claire’s and Hello Kitty’s long-running collaboration — the first of multiple exclusive product drops featuring Sanrio’s popular characters on Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary. The milestone year has seen numerous brand collaborations and Canada’s first-ever Hello Kitty café, as fans queued in massive numbers for its grand opening. Also coming to North America is McDonald’s’ highly anticipated Yu-Gi-Oh! x Hello Kitty and Friends Happy Meal Toy range, featuring 10 exciting collectibles, and the Hello Kitty and Friends x Care Bears collection, uniting two of the most adorable franchises out there. The latter collection includes plush dolls, blankets, clothing, accessories and more.
