Guests were welcomed with champagne at the May 23 red-carpet reception for Curtain Call.
The event at the Argenta Contemporary Theatre was a fundraiser for Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled (AEDD).
The evening included dinner and a presentation of the 2024 Jim Hinson Spirit of Giving Award to North Little Rock Mayor Terry C. Hartwick. Following a live auction, attendees were treated to a show presented by the AEDD in the Rock drama troupe titled “The King of Peanut Butter’s Best Friend.”
The final performance was by The Glammas from North Little Rock Dance Dynamics.
Funds raised at the event support AEDD’s Jobs 4 You program which provides workforce training, job coaching and job placement for adults with disabilities. Lisa Warren served as event chairwoman.
