Dita von Teese Reminds Everyone She’s Even More Magical at 51 as She Performs Nearly-Nude for Paris Fashion Week

The Queen of Burlesque, Dita von Teese, just made the most head-turning appearance for Paris Fashion Week, also known as PFW.

In case you missed it, on June 25, Teese made a rare appearance at PFW. But no, she didn’t just arrive to watch the show; she was part of the show. And again, we know what you were thinking: she didn’t walk the runway; she performed an iconic Burlesque dance that made the audience lose its mind.

The brand Teese performed on stage at the Fall/Winter 2024 at PFW for the brand Alexis Mabille, for their Haute Couture. (The brand was originally launched in 2005, and made their PFW debut back in 2008).

As you can see, Teese performed in an enormous Martini glass, donning jeweled nipple tassels, a matching thong, a choker, and bejeweled garters. Not only does she look so confident as she performs on stage, but she’s reminding everyone that she’s even more magical and confident at 51 years old.

Yes, Teese is 51 years old (we’re waiting for her to drop that skincare routine, to be honest); and she has said that she has no plans on slowing down anytime soon.

Teese began burlesque in 1992, and since then, she’s worked in that, modeling, acting, and her impressive business ventures. And like we said, she’s not stopping anytime soon.

In a previous interview with Love Sunday magazine via Metro, Teese talked about how she has no plans on retiring anytime soon, and she feels better than ever.

“I feel stronger and fitter than ever, so why slow down? I’m really grateful that I live in a time where audiences are receptive to older women setting an example,” she said.
