County streamlines job application process with new software – theOrcasonian.com

||| FROM SAN JUAN COUNTY COMMUNICATIONS |||

San Juan County is pleased to launch a new software program that will make applying for a County job easier and faster. The new applicant tracking system, powered by NEOGOV, includes a streamlined option for applicants to create an online profile, easily apply for multiple jobs, self-schedule interviews, and track their progress through the application process.

“We’re excited about the efficiencies this software will add to our hiring process,” said Nadine Varsovia, who works as one of the County’s main recruiters. “It not only makes it easier on the applicants, but also easier on staff to process, sort, and reference applications. I think it’ll help match qualified applicants with County jobs much faster.”

Not only does the software benefit applicants, but existing employees, too. Tied to the GovernmentJobs.com system, applicants and current employees will be able to create a profile where they can update work history and qualifications, accept offers digitally, and complete onboarding and training courses.

How to apply for a County Job

Those interested in applying for a job at San Juan County are encouraged to visit the County’s website: https://www.sanjuancountywa.gov/jobs.aspx. From there, applicants will have three choices: SJC Jobs website
