Caitlin Clark’s Clutch 4th Quarter Praised by WNBA Fans as Fever Rally to Beat Lynx

Caitlin Clark had a largely miserable first three quarters in Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Lynx.

Good thing there was a fourth.

Clark scored 10 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Indiana Fever to an 81-74 win over the Lynx. Indiana outscored Minnesota 28-14 in the fourth, with Clark putting on a stellar offensive display to lead the charge.

The Fever have won three of their last four games and are 10-6 since their ugly 1-8 start to the season.

Clark finding herself on the floor has been the main catalyst for the turnaround. The No. 1 overall pick came into Sunday with five straight double-doubles, establishing herself as arguably the best passer in the WNBA in her rookie season.

Clark finished with just six assists on Sunday—her lowest total in nearly a month—but her will to win came through in the fourth as a scorer. We’re still yet to see Clark find herself into consistent 25-point territory the way she was at Iowa, but her growth already in her rookie campaign has been considerable.

The Fever travel to Dallas to play the Wings on Wednesday in their final game before the WNBA All-Star/Olympic break gets underway.
