Blue Bell Ice Cream Announces New Flavor Blending Two Of Our Favorite Desserts Into One Delicious Dessert
When steamy July rolls around, we all clasp our hands in gratitude for cold and creamy ice cream. No wonder the whole month is designated as National Ice Cream month. But did you know that July 30 is National Cheesecake Day, too?
Blue Bell is here to remind us with Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream, a new flavor by the ice cream maker that blends two cool desserts into one.
“Of course, we enjoy ice cream every day at Blue Bell,” Sara Schramm, marketing brand manager, stated in a press release. But, she added, they wanted “to make July a little extra special.”
According to the description, the flavor is a rich cheesecake ice cream dotted with chocolate-cookie-crusted cheesecake pieces and chocolate crème-filled cookies. Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream is available in half gallon and pint sizes in stores for a limited time.
While you’re picking up a carton from the freezer section, you can grab another new summertime flavor by Blue Bell. The company also introduced A&W® Root Beer Float Ice Cream, a follow-up to its successful Dr Pepper® Float flavor from last year. Blue Bell’s A&W is a creamy vanilla ice cream swirled with root-beer flavored sherbet.
“Both are a great addition to all of your summer gatherings,” Schramm said. After enduring some sweltering weeks, we have to agree. And we’ve got a few recipes you can use your store-bought ice cream in, like Brownie Ice Cream Sandwiches and Ice Cream Cake.
Spoons up, y’all!
