Bennifer Publicly Listed Their Mansion
Bennifer purists, the time may have finally come to admit defeat. We already knew that the early-aughts rebounders tried to sell their Beverly Hills mansion off-market from a June TMZ dispatch. On Thursday, however, the site claimed the couple’s love nest — all 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms — had been publicly listed for $68 million. It sounds like the attempt to quietly sell the home didn’t go as planned, much like their marriage. Very sad, indeed.
Per TMZ, the listing specifies a 38,000-square-foot home, which Lopez and Affleck reportedly bought for just over $60 million. After scouring the Los Angeles market for more than two years, the lovebirds decided on this particular mansion in 2023 and set about renovating it. That work means they probably won’t turn much of a profit from the sale, but I’m sure they’re antsy to get the property off their hands regardless.
As of May, Affleck has been hiding out two blocks away from his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, in a $100,000-a-month bachelor pad in Brentwood. J.Lo, meanwhile, has been gallivanting about, most recently on a boat in Italy with friends. While the couple has been alternating ring wearing in what may as well be a will they, won’t they rom-com plot, all signs point to disaster. Still, People has clung to the narrative that the mansion was simply “way too big” for J.Lo. Have you ever known that woman to be a minimalist? I rest my case.
