Beabadoobee’s Tokyo travel diary
Chilling with deers in Nara Park, singing karaoke in a faux fur coat, riding on pedalos and eating immaculately presented sushi: these are just a few of the activities that were on Beabadoobee’s agenda for her recent trip to Tokyo, where she filmed the music video for her euphoric summer track Ever Seen.
Shot in various scenic spots in the city, the song is all about the rush of falling in love, with cute, gushy lines such as, “He said I had the prettiest eyes he’d ever seen”. It’s apt, then, that Bea’s boyfriend and director Jake Erland was behind the camera for the shoot, having previously directed the videos for Glue Song and The Way Things Go.
A summer trip to Tokyo for work, eh? We see what you did there, Bea. The former FACE cover star dropped the music video last week, in which you can see her get up to all of the above. But Bea also handed her personal pics over to us to give you an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the video shoot, as well as some extra snaps from her time in Japan.
