ASTA Welcomes 1,400 Travel Professionals to Dallas for Sold-Out Travel Advisor Conference
The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) will host approximately 1,400 travel advisors and suppliers at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas for the sold-out 2024 Travel Advisor Conference this week.
Rebranded from the ASTA Global Convention this year, the immersive event for advisors of all experience levels will feature educational sessions, networking opportunities, a trade show with over 200 suppliers, the signature Advocacy Dinner gala and more May 29-31.
2024 highlights will include an expanded event lineup, three different educational tracks tailored to an advisor’s experience level and the opportunity for advisors to earn their Verified Travel Advisor certification on-site.
Tennis legend, entrepreneur and best-selling author Venus Williams will be the featured keynote speaker of the event while Chris Voss, former Lead FBI Hostage Negotiator & Author, Chris Nassetta, President of Hilton, Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line, and Candace Bertotti, Adjunct Lecturer from Harvard Business School will also share invaluable insights.
ASTA will also celebrate important award winners, including Consortium Partners of the Year, Host Agency Partner of the Year, the Robert Duglin Chapter Excellence Award, the President’s Travel Advisor Leadership Award, the Supplier Medal of Excellence, the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Travel Advisor of the Year, Partner Company of the Year and Partner Representative of the Year, among other honors.
“I am very excited for this year’s conference under our new brand,” ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby said in a statement. “The goal was to create an event that was clear both in terms of who it was for and what it would promise.”
