Starting in January 2024, APSA’s Committee on the Status of Graduate Students in the Profession has organized regular virtual professional development workshops to encourage and support political science graduate students. Topics have included uncovering the hidden curriculum of the academic conference submission process, exploring strategies to successfully complete the dissertation, and best practices for conducting fieldwork.
