Apple iPad Air M2 Lowest-Price Deals Available Right Now

If you’re thinking of splashing out on the new iPad Air, there’s good news. It’s only been on sale for days, so you might think you’d need to wait a while before savings are available. But no, there’s $50 off at Amazon already. Here are the details.

Amazon’s page for the 11-inch iPad Air with M2 processor has reductions for two different capacities of the tablet. Both have a 5% reduction. On the entry-level 128GB capacity model, that means a drop of $29.01, and it’s available on three of the four colors: blue, purple and space gray. All of which can be snapped up for $569.99 instead of the usual $599. These prices are for the wifi version, not wifi plus cellular. Amazon has these, too, but they sell for $747.99, which is just $1.01 less than Apple’s price.

There are no meaningful reductions on the 256GB storage options, while there’s $40 off the 512GB wifi only model in purple ($859 instead of $899), $29.01 off blue ($869.99) and $10 off the space gray and starlight colors ($889).

We only get to decent discounts again when the storage capacity is maxed out, which means 1TB for the iPad Air. This is when the other 5% discount kicks in again, seeing a reduction of $50 on the original $1,099 price. So, for $1,049, you can snag the iPad Air 11-inch with 1TB storage and wifi connectivity in starlight, space gray, purple or blue. All four colors, in other words.

Supposing you fancy checking out the iPad Air in its all-new 13-inch model? Discounts here are thin on the ground from Amazon, I’m afraid. Here’s Amazon’s page for this, but you need to scour every option to glimpse a meaningful price drop.

Amazon’s price for the 128GB 13-inch model with wi-fi connectivity is lower than Apple’s, priced at $764 for the starlight, purple and blue options, a $35 discount on Apple’s $799 price. Choose this option in space gray and the price goes up by $5.99 to $769.99. Add cellular connectivity and Amazon’s price matches Apple’s: $949. You can save $2.01 on the space gray and blue options which are $946.99.

Move to 256GB with wifi only and Apple’s $899 price is undercut by a few dollars here: $891.04 for the space gray, $8.02 off for the starlight and blue, bringing it down to $890.98, but $40 off for purple at $859. Add cellular and the discounts are tiny or nil. Apple’s price is $1,049, which Amazon matches for the purple version. Or you can pay $1,046.99, a $2.01 price drop, for blue, space gray or starlight.

Step up to 512GB storage with wi-fi only and Amazon knocks $50, that’s 5% off Apple’s $1,099 price sticker. That’s for the blue, purple and space gray colors, but starlight is the full price, $1,099. Cellular connectivity sees all four iPad Air options matching Apple’s $1,249 price.

Finally, go for the biggest storage, 1TB on the 13-inch iPad Air with wifi only and Amazon’s price is the same as Apple’s, $1,299 for the starlight and blue finishes, but there’s 5% off for the space gray and purple choices. This brings the price down by the biggest dollar price yet, $65, making it $1,234. The models with cellular are the same price as Apple sell them for: $1,449.

The moral is, there are discounts to be had—though starlight seems to be too popular in most sizes to have delivered big discounts yet.
