All the rage: Pop-up boutique shopping – The Cullman Tribune
CULLMAN, Ala. – Five locally owned businesses came together on Sunday to host a pop-up sale at Doug Doggett Jewelers.
Two business owners there were Savannah Nunnelley from Collier Custom Hats and Shayla Waldner from The Pink Boot Boutique.
“One of the pop-up owner’s family owns Doug Doggett Jewelers,” Nunneley said. “She invited us all to set up there this weekend and wants to make this a once a month Sunday thing. The cool thing is we are all stay-at-home moms and these businesses are our dream to own. We are a very blessed, awesome group of women. I am very honored to be setting up with and sharing time with them. We all buy from each other, but wholeheartedly support each other, too.”
Waldner said Hallie Lange reached out to her to do the local boutique pop-up, and said she loves to see the “girl’s girl” support.
“This is what I love to see within our community – women supporting one another, buying from one another and clapping for one another,” Waldner said. “We will be starting a monthly setup to continue this support for one another and within our community. We have developed great friendships within one another and admire one another’s hard, unique work.”
Other businesses present included: Hallie B Boutique (Hallie Lang), Calvert & Co (Jessica Thornton and Kendall Calvert) and Frills & Frogs (Hannah Calvert).
Many of these local businesses will be present at 2nd Fridays in the upcoming weeks.
