The fashion trends spotted at Vogue World: Paris
1/ Cycling
The first scene was a tribute to the 1920s, marked by the golden age of cycling when bicycles became the quintessential form of transport. During this time, women’s clothing became more comfortable and casual. Coco Chanel, who excelled at blending masculine and feminine codes, is credited with contributing to this advancement.
2/ Track and Field
In the 1930s, fashion took a technical turn with the introduction of viscose and nylon. In addition to these fabrics, the black-and-white color palette paid tribute to the course des garçons de café, a legendary competition – emblematic of that era – in which waiters from beloved Parisian cafés race around the city balancing their trays. Iconic figures of the capital, these waiters embody Parisian charm.
