Adult film star Jesse Jane ‘s cause of death has been revealed.
The adult film star died in January alongside her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, at a home in Oklahoma after police responded to a call for a welfare check. TMZ reported that Jessie, real name Cindy Howell died of an accidental fentanyl and cocaine overdose, according to the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner’s office. Police suspected it was a drug overdose.
Police responded to a welfare check on the property when the bodies were discovered. The welfare check was requested by Brett’s employer who hadn’t heard from him in a few days. It is still unclear how long Jesse and Bret were in the house.

Jesse shot to fame in the adult film world after starting her career with Digital Playground. Within months of signing a contract with the company, she appeared on Showtime’s Family Business. The porn star was then featured in a number of adult films, including Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge, which is said to have had a budget of $ 8million. It became one of the most expensive porn films to have ever been made.
Jesse’s popularity got her to Playboy. She hosted a popular live show titled Night Calls as well as Playboy TV’s Naughty Amateur Home Videos. Her popularity also hosted several award shows, including the AVN Awards and the XBIZ Awards. She then launched her own range of adult toys.
Jesse announced her retirement from the adult industry in 2017 but two years later, it was revealed she was going to make a return to the industry. Jesse is survived by her son.
Away from the world of adult entertainment, Jesse made appearances in some huge blockbuster movie like Starsky & Hutch and had a guest role on Entourage. Jesse aso took part in the CNBC documentary Porn: Business of Pleasure in 2009, which showed her life away from the cameras.
The adult film star was born on July 16, 1980 in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated with honors from Moore High School in 1998. Before getting into the industry, the Gazette reported that Jesse modeled for retailers like 5-7-9 and David’s Bridal before landing a job at Hooters for a commercial.
