Revealed: Justin Timberlake’s cocktail order that landed him in jail

Sources have revealed the punchy cocktail Justin Timberlake drank in the Hamptons before landing in jail with a DWI arrest. 

People with knowledge of what happened on the night told the Daily Beast he enjoyed a Vesper Martini at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor. 

‘It’s all alcohol,’ the insider told the outlet. ‘There is no mixer.’ 

The Vesper was created for James Bond by author Ian Fleming, named after seductive double-agent Vesper Lynd. 

It comprises four ounces of a combined two spirits – Grey Goose vodka and Tanqueray gin – with a wine-based aperitif Lillet Blanc. 

The high-percentage beverage is shaken over ice and garnished with a lemon twist. 

Timberlake was booked on Monday night, and cops shared a mugshot of him looking bleary-eyed and exhausted hours later. 

The 43-year-old star was arrested after partying at Sag Harbor’s American Hotel on Monday night. 

Law enforcement sources told TMZ the Sexy Back singer was pulled over after he left shortly after midnight when he blew past a stop sign.

Local officers reportedly followed the pop star and observed him swerving across the road, forcing cops to pull him over.

It later emerged that the officer who arrested him was so young that he didn’t recognize the music megastar, or know his name. 

The father-of-two performed a field sobriety test and was asked to take a breathalyzer test, which he refused.

The outlet reported that several friends arrived on the scene and tried to convince officers to cut him some slack, but he was handcuffed and arrested.

The pop star has two upcoming shows in Chicago later this week followed by back-to-back nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City next week.

A source told DailyMail.com: ‘Justin was out to dinner with friends and there were cop cars stationed outside the restaurant, like there are most nights. 

‘They look for people who are leaving after midnight who might have been drinking.’

‘Justin left at 12:30AM and was pulled over as soon as he left. Nobody was hurt and there was no drama at the scene.’

Timberlake was arraigned on one count of DWI and also cited for running a stop sign and for failure to stay in his lane. He is next in court on July 26 after being released without bail.

For refusing the breathalyzer test, Timberlake had his driving privileges in the state of New York suspended.  

The singer, who is often referred to as the ‘Prince of Pop’ is married to actress Jessica Biel, having tied the knot in 2012.
