Travis Scott Released a T-Shirt with His Mugshot and ‘It’s Miami’ Quote from Recent Arrest
Hours after his Miami arrest on Thursday, June 20, Travis Scott released a t-shirt featuring his mugshot.
The top, currently available on the 33-year-old rapper’s merch site, is a black crew-neck with the mugshot front and center. It also includes the phrase “It’s Miami” in quotes, which, according to the official police report, is something Scott said to officers after the arrest.
Scott is calling the item the “Free the Rage Tee” and it’s priced at $35. The website also states that a portion of the proceeds will go to the Cactus Jack Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks to “empower and enrich the lives of youth by providing access to education and creative resources to ensure long term success,” according to its website.
Per public records, the rapper (né Jacques Bermon Webster II) was arrested in Miami-Dade County, Florida, at 4:35 a.m. local time on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing on a property after a warning.
Bond came to a total $650, and records show the bond had been submitted as of Thursday.
“Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding,” his attorney Bradford Cohen said in a statement. “There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution.”
Representatives for the Miami Beach Police Department told PEOPLE that Scott was arrested at approximately 1:44 a.m. following an incident at the Miami Beach Marina, located at 300 Alton Road.

In an arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE, officers state that they found Scott “yelling at the vessel occupants” after authorities were notified of fighting on a yacht.
“Officers made contact with [Scott] to conduct an investigation,” the affidavit reads. “The defendant was asked by officers to sit down, at which point [he] temporarily sat down and then began continuously standing back up, disregarding officers’ commands. Throughout the interaction, officers on scene could sense a strong smell of alcohol coming from the defendants’ breath.”
The complainant did not press charges but asked that Scott leave the vessel. On the walk to the boardwalk, authorities wrote, the rapper “walked backwards yelling obscenities to the occupants of the vessel.”

He left the premises but returned to the yacht “approximately 5 minutes later” and, per police, “began yelling once again, becoming erratic, disturbing the peace of the occupants of the marina and nearby residential buildings, causing a public disturbance.”
The rapper was then arrested and brought to the Miami Beach Police Department. Police claimed he “later admitted that he had been drinking alcohol and stated, ‘It’s Miami.'”
Sources familiar with the matter told PEOPLE, “There was no physical altercation with anyone.”
“This was a rowdy party and Travis was already bailed out for a few hundred dollars. He is already home,” they added. “There will be no further action to be taken as it was a minor incident akin to receiving a ticket with no injuries.”
