Chris Brown Gets Stuck Suspended in Air During Concert

Chris Brown was technically over the influence during a concert on Tuesday night, after the R&B star got caught suspended in the air mid-song after his wires malfunctioned.

The Grammy-winning star glided across the stage on wires at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, while performing his song “Under the Influence. Brown seemed to come to a halt, movement wise, mid-song although the crowd seemed unaware immediately as he kept singing.

An upset Brown then signaled to tour workers to help him down. Despite being stuck, he didn’t stop singing and continued to perform.

A ladder was brought to the stage, and Brown climbed down and finished performing his song, though he exchanged words with one of the tour workers who helped bring the ladder over.

At the end of the two-hour concert, he told the audience he was angry but also made light of the situation.

Brown, who launched his 11:11 tour last week, glides in the air during the show to a smaller stage in the center of the venue, where he performed songs like “Take You Down” and “Wet the Bed.” While in the air, he also danced and even sang upside down.

The Tuesday night concert featured a number of his hits, including “Go Crazy,” “No Guidance,” “Loyal,” “She Ain’t You,” “With You” and his 2005 debut single “Run It!”

Arya Starr and Maeta opened for Brown, who will play two nights at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and wrap the tour with two shows at the Crypto.com Arena on Aug. 6-7.
