NTR family united again, only Jr is missing!

After many years, all the family members of legendary actor and former chief minister late N T Rama Rao have come together under one umbrella with Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu returning as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh once again.

Till a few months ago, the family of NTR’s elder daughter Daggubati Purandeshwari, along with her husband Daggubati Venkateshwar Rao had been keeping away from rest of the NTR family members. 

While all the other sons and daughters stood solidly behind Naidu, Purandeshwari and her husband had maintained distance from him.

Purandeshwari who had earlier been with the Congress and later the Bharatiya Janata Party, was making critical comments against Naidu and his party.

Her husband Daggubati Venkateshwar Rao had even written a book on how Naidu had backstabbed NTR and grabbed power, sidelining the other NTR family members. In 2019, he joined the YSR Congress party and unsuccessfully contested from Parchur to be defeated by TDP candidate Yeluru Sambasiva Rao.

Now, the Daggubati family also returned to the NTR family to support Naidu.

If it was Venkateshwara Rao who had proposed the name of Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister in 1995 after the infamous revolt against NTR, it was Purandeshwari who proposed Naidu’s name as the chief minister again a couple of days ago at the NDA meeting.

The entire Daggubati family attended Naidu’s swearing-in ceremony at Vijayawada. In fact, Purandeshwari came to the venue along with Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneshwari. She later sat with her younger brother Nandamuri Balakrishna on the dais.

Besides, other family members of NTR, including son Ramakrishna, were also seen among the audience, along with Nara and Daggubati families. It appeared all the family members had buried their differences and come together again.

The only persons from the NTR family missing at the event were: Junior NTR and his brother Kalyan Ram. Maybe, it will take some time for them to rejoin the NTR family.

If it happens, the unity of Nandamuri-Nara-Daggubati families will be completed!
