Another live Galaxy Z Fold 6 photo leaks, shows cheap camera lens design

Following a leak that showed the Galaxy Z Fold 6 from the front side, we’re now being treated to an image that shows the phone from the back. In both these leaks, the phone is only partially visible, but that’s enough to confirm some of what we have heard about the flagship foldable so far.

The most interesting—and disappointing—thing that this leak confirms is a new ridged design for the rings that surround the rear-facing camera lenses. This ridged design was first seen in a leaked photo of one of the camera lenses a few days back, and it looks cheap and completely out of place on a flagship smartphone that will cost upwards of $1500.

The device pictured here alo seems to be wider than existing Galaxy Z Fold smartphones, providing more evidence that Samsung is making the displays bigger. They won’t be substantially bigger, though.

Samsung is reportedly keeping the big display size upgrade for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim models that are rumored to be launching alongside the standard Z Fold 6 this year.

In fact, everything we have heard and seen over the past few months suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 won’t bring too many major hardware upgrades, just the usual yearly improvements, such as a newer chip and newer software.

But with the phone’s official launch more than a month away, nothing is truly confirmed. It’s possible that some rumors and leaks got it wrong, and we may yet see Samsung surprise us with a few things that no one was expecting.
