This Semi-private Jet Company Is Relaunching Routes to This Stunning Southwestern Destination — and Flights Start at Just 9

Semi-private airline JSX will relaunch service to the popular town of Taos next month, just in time for summer.

Starting June 28, the jet company will start flying to the New Mexico town from both Dallas and the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in the Denver area, JSX shared with Travel + Leisure. Both routes will fly into the Taos Regional Airport.

The flights will be seasonal and operate through Sept. 29.

“JSX, at its core, is about increasing access to air travel and our return to Taos does just that,” Alex Wilcox, the CEO of the air carrier, said in a statement shared with T+L. “It’s our true pleasure to bring customers to places where large network airlines can’t go, like Taos, where the best of arts and culture become more attainable than ever before.”

To celebrate the return of these routes, JSX is offering introductory fares starting at just $179 one-way to the Denver/Boulder area and starting at $209 one-way to Dallas. The Colorado flights will operate once per day on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while the Dallas flights will operate once per day on Fridays and Sundays.

The air carrier then has a dedicated hangar at Taos Regional Airport for a seamless experience. The airport sits just eight miles from the Taos Historic District.

JSX operates semi-private flights to states across the United States, including to California, New York, Florida, and Nevada, along with seasonal service to popular destinations as far as Mexico, the Bahamas, and more. The airline operates a fleet of 48 Embraer ERJ family aircraft with 30 seats each.

Travelers who fly semi-private are able to arrive at the terminal just 20 to 45 minutes before their flight. Once on board, passengers are treated to free Wi-Fi from SpaceX’s Starlink, two checked bags (including oversize items like skis or golf bags), free cocktails, and more.
