Orioles vs. White Sox game Sunday to begin at 3:50 p.m. after rain delay

CHICAGO — It’s been that kind of week for the Orioles.

The series finale with the Chicago White Sox, which was delayed from its originally scheduled 2:10 p.m. first pitch because of heavy rain, will begin at 3:50 p.m. Sunday. There has been steady rainfall in Chicago throughout the morning and the forecast calls for more throughout the day.

Baltimore has had four games impacted by rain on its road trip and five in the last eight days, including the opener of their series with the White Sox. The club isn’t scheduled to return to Chicago again this season, which puts any decision over whether to postpone the game in the hands of MLB rather than the two teams.

Kyle Bradish, whose last start was cut short when the Orioles’ game against the Cardinals in St. Louis was suspended in the sixth inning, is scheduled to start for the Orioles. Garrett Crochet is the probable pitcher for the White Sox.
