Jason Voorhees’ attacks are littered with awesome references to the Friday the 13th series, here’s his full move list

MultiVersus is set for its relaunch next week, and Player First Games continues to ramp up their media blitz as we draw nearer to its official release day. Just this week, the company unveiled several new fighters coming to the game, including legendary Friday the 13th slasher, Jason Voorhees.

The towering titan was given an official gameplay trailer, and we also had the opportunity to try Jason out ourselves ahead of launch, so be sure to check out our impressions to learn more about him. But before that, though, Play First Games just released a new MultiVersus video that details Jason Voorhees’ full move list in the game.

Jason is one of the largest characters in MultiVersus, and he has the speed to match his size. His attacks are slower and powerful, and as one might expect, there are a lot of references to his films sprinkled throughout his move set.

This new showcase runs viewers through all of Jason’s various tools, detailing how each one is done and providing brief descriptions of each.

Crunch Time, Jason’s Normal Ground Up attack, sees Jason lift a full bed over his head and fold it in half smashing whoever dares to be above him. This maneuver can be charged and launches opponents skyward when they’re hit by it.

Fear The 13th is a 3-hit combo that can be performed using Jason’s Normal Ground Side attack. With it, Jason slashes his opponent twice in quick succession with his machete, then grabs them and tosses them away.

One of his coolest moves, however, is his Sweet Dreams special move. This attack sees Jason capture his foe in a sleeping bag, then slam them into other opponents or into the ground for a powerful maneuver.

Jason will be playable when MultiVersus relaunches on May 28.
