Dramatic moments mother confronts sex offender in Target

A furious mother confronted a registered sex offender who allegedly took an inappropriate video of her teenage daughter in an Ohio Target store.

Charles Broc Mullholand, 40, is a tier two registered sex offender in Wood County, Ohio.

Earlier this week, he was caught taking a video of a 16-year-old girl’s backside, the teenager claimed in a Facebook post.

After she told her mother, Monica Geisel, what happened – the fuming mom stormed over to Mullholland and called him out in a dramatic moment which was captured on camera.

‘You took a video. Show it to me,’ Geisel demanded while cornering Mullholland in the aisles of the Rossford Target.

‘That’s my daughter, take it off your phone,’ she said before demanding to see the video and saying ‘that’s disgusting.’

Turns out, this was not the first time Mullholland had taken an inappropriate video of underage people, according to Geisel.

‘I see a ton of videos of other people on there, other girls on there, and so that’s when I try to grab his phone and he instantly, you know, like, pushed my arm and like took it, and that’s when he started walking away,’ Geisel said.

‘It’s not that he was just recording people, he’s recording her inappropriately, and he’s zooming in on body parts of her.’

Mullholland tried to flee the scene, but Geisel followed him and told him not to move. ‘You take one more video of an underage girl,’ she warned and told him ‘back the f*** off.’

Mullholland tries to exit the Target, even telling an employee he needs help – Geisel announced to surrounding shoppers ‘this guys taking videos of underage girls at Target.’

The cops were called, but when Rossford police showed up they told the furious mother that the sex offender hadn’t commit a crime by recording her 16-year-old daughter, according to WTVG.

‘There’s definitely some concerns there, but unfortunately, that individual wasn’t breaking any laws at the time, and it puts us in kind of a bad spot because we know that there’s probably some ill intent, but there’s nothing that we can do about it lawfully,’ said Chief Kitzler.

Shortly after the confrontation, police pulled Mullholland over for a traffic violation and asked him about the incident in Target.

Bodycam footage revealed the interaction, in which Mullholland dodged questions from law enforcement and denied taking the video,

He offered to show the police his phone, but then claimed he couldn’t open it because he forgot his password.

Mullholland was let go with just a traffic warning.

According to Wood County sex offender registry, Mullholland’s offense was ‘Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter involving minor’ – which is felony of the second degree.

His other offense involved illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material with sexual motivation – a felony punishable by up to eight years in prison and a fine of $15,000 per illegal image.

The video of Geisel’s confrontation with Mullholland went viral on social media – and viewers were outraged by his behavior.

Facebook users commented in support of Geisel, saying ‘Get him mama bear!’ and ‘Wow! What a sicko. Go Monica.’
