GUNTHER’s Opponent For WWE King Of The Ring Tournament Final Confirmed – WrestleTalk

Today’s episode of WWE SmackDown confirmed who will face GUNTHER in the final of this year’s King of the Ring tournament.

Randy Orton vs Tama Tonga was the SmackDown semi-final after they beat Carmelo Hayes and LA Knight respectively in the quarter-finals last week.

Orton vs Tonga main evented SmackDown and it was Orton who picked up the win, which means the 2024 King of the Ring final is officially GUNTHER vs Randy Orton.

Solo Sikoa attempted to attack Orton after today’s  match, but Kevin Owens returned to make the save.

GUNTHER beat Jey Uso on Raw this past Monday to earn his place in the final.

The winner of the final will receive a world title shot at WWE SummerSlam on August 3.

That’s the same for the women’s Queen of the Ring tournament, with that final set to be contested by Lyra Valkyria and today’s winner of Bianca Belair vs Nia Jax.
