Deadline to apply for Travel South Dakota’s Rally Rush grants is Friday

Friday (May 24, 2024) is the application deadline for eligible entities to submit their application to receive up to $500 in grant funds for Travel South Dakota’s Rally Rush. The funds can be used towards entities’ own Rally Rush promotional swag or advertising initiatives.

Rally Rush is a new statewide initiative to welcome bikers to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and celebrate the tradition of motorcycling in South Dakota.

Grants are limited to one per community. Regional tourism associations, CVBs, chambers of commerce, economic development corporations/offices and civic organizations are eligible to apply.

Travel South Dakota will also provide approved entities with a start-up kit of free “Welcome Riders” posters, stickers, window clings, and a limited number of Rally Rush T-shirts to help in campaign efforts.
