WFH Hangover? Bengaluru Woman Goes Shopping While Attending Team Meeting On Laptop
After Covid, many workers struggled to come back to the office, having gotten a taste of the ideal work-life balance. While working from home has its own benefits and quirks, as does working from the office, employers were keen to have everyone back citing reasons like increasing productivity and preserving ‘the culture.’ While this transition was easy for some of us, others still refuse to budge it seems. Kinda like this woman from Bengaluru who was seen on her laptop while shopping for shoes. Here’s what went on.
Why is the photo viral?

X user Karthik Bhaskara recently shared a photo of a woman holding a laptop and seemingly attending a team meeting while shopping for shoes in a store. He wrote in the caption: “Today in @peakbengaluru, I saw a person shoe shopping while attending a team meeting on her laptop.”
Not going to lie, Bengaluru does give us plenty of these viral moments. Remember the viral photo of the man working on his laptop in a cinema hall while a movie was running? “I went to see a movie yesterday, and someone was on their laptop the entire time. Bangalore is Bangaloring,” Rishika wrote in her post on X.

There was also this instance of a man working on a laptop while driving a two-wheeler. Yes! He had the laptop open while he was driving his scooter. Bengaluru is clearly not for beginners. It makes one wonder if this is really a work-from-home hangover or is it simply that laptops have replaced our phones… Think about that for a while and check out the photo below that raked in 65.4K views and comments like “Could have been done on the phone – both – the meeting and the shoe shopping,” and “Day by day, I am more convinced to never visit Bengaluru.”
