More talents qualified for a ladder match in Las Vegas to determine who will be the first to hold a brand new WWE championship.

At NXT Battleground, there will be a six-way ladder match to determine who will become the first ever NXT Women’s North American Champion.

On tonight’s airing of WWE NXT (May 21) there were more qualifiers throughout the show.

In the show’s first match-up, two potential favorites were pitted against one another as Thea Hail took on Fallon Henley.

During the match, Henley was about to introduce a steel chair, but Ridge Holland who was at ringside with the rest of Chase U took it away from her.

However, the referee thought it was Holland who had intentions to use it, and ended up kicking Holland and the rest of Chase U out of ringside.

As a result, Thea Hail did not advance as rather Fallon Henley picked up the victory.

After the bout, Hail was still alone and was attacked as Jazmyn Nyx popped up and delivered Pelé Kick.

In the second qualifying match, Jaida Parker from OTM beat the cheerful Brinley Reece in order to secure her spot in the ladder match as well.

After the match, Booker T speculated that Edris Enofe and Malik Blade joining Reece at ringside was the moment the match stopped going in her favor.

Two spots are still to be determined as Henley and Parker join Sol Ruca and Lash Legend who qualified last week.
