Visit Manitowoc will join their peers across Wisconsin and The United States in celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week.
Director Courtney Hansen says they’ll be recognizing the impact the travel industry holds on the local economy, businesses, and community.
Hansen will provide updates on local tourism data and highlight recent projects and upcoming initiatives, including plans for the 2025 NFL Draft next April at Visit Manitowoc’s annual Travel and Tourism breakfast Tuesday May 21st.
She adds, “We’re excited once again to join in celebrating our thriving local tourism industry. On the heels of the start of the S.S.Badger sailing season and ahead of Memorial Day weekend, we’re about to dive into Manitowoc’s busiest season and are looking forward to welcoming thousands of visitors to experience our can’t miss summer events, new businesses and treasured Manitowoc favorites.”
Mayor Justin Nickels will present a proclamation declaring May 19th through 25th as National Travel and Tourism Week during the Common Council meeting on Monday May 20th.
