Country music star Zac Brown has been granted a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, according to a Fox News report.

The site said that the 45-year-old filed a lawsuit Friday in Georgia that requested “an emergency temporary restraining order, injunctive relief, and damages arising out of several past and threatened violations.”

Fox said the violations pertain to a confidentiality agreement that Brown claims his estranged wife, Kelly Yazdi, signed. Entertainment Tonight reported that Brown requested that Yazdi take down an Instagram post that went against the agreement.

Fox reported that Brown also asked the court to prevent Yazdi from “making any defamatory, false, untrue, or otherwise damaging statements.”

He reportedly told NBC that his “only hope is for us to keep private matters private and to move forward with mutual respect.”

Brown and Yazdi reportedly separated in December after being married for four months.
