The Harris County 4th Precinct Constable Office reported on X that due to the weather and power outages, traffic lights at multiple intersections across Precinct 4 are out of service. Please treat these intersections as four-way stops and expect delays.
Reports indicate that windows have been blown out in the CenterPoint and Total Energies towers in downtown Houston. Additional buildings may also be affected. Streets are littered with trees and other debris, some intersections are blocked, and traffic lights are out.
The NWS has issued several severe weather warnings across various Texas counties. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 7:45 p.m. CDT for northwestern Galveston, northeastern Brazoria and southeastern Harris counties. Additionally, multiple Flash Flood Warnings are in place, including the latest one covering southeastern Polk County until 8:30 p.m. CDT.
