New Last Epoch Season 2 release date — big changes!
The first season of Last Epoch is almost over, which means the game developers are gearing up for the Last Epoch Season 2 release date.
The next season will be called “Harbingers of Ruin,” and all the details, thankfully, have been revealed officially.
So without any further delay, let’s dive into the Last Epoch Season 2 release date, along with a quick overview of the new content.
When is the Last Epoch Season 2 release date?
The Last Epoch “Harbingers of Ruin” Season 2 is scheduled to release on July 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. CT / 5 p.m. BST, meaning we’re now a few hours away from the upcoming update. To prepare for the new season, developers have confirmed that they’ll be shutting down the servers for 24 hours in order to perform maintenance.
As of writing this article, the Last Epoch servers have gone offline and as a result, players are most likely to encounter the login failed error while trying to enter the game.
Last Epoch Season 2 new content and features
Last Epoch Harbingers of Ruin is a massive update, that is set to bring a lot of changes including plenty of skill updates, enemy nerfs and buffs, item alterations and more.
When it comes to the new content, the developers are granting a special ability called Evade to all classes. Evade works similar to movement abilities but it is not a traversal skill and cannot be unequipped or swapped with other player skills.
Next, we have a new system called Nemesis that incorporates new random encounters that can spawn throughout the Campaign, Monolith, and Dungeons. Nemeses can also drop Vengeful weapons that seek out the destruction of the Harbingers that killed them.
Apart from this, Boss defenses are getting an update to make it easier to understand how much damage a boss is taking. Bosses will get shields at certain breakpoints, which will decay over time, allowing low DPS builds to still have a chance if they can survive long enough.
There’s also a new Glyph of Envy, which you can use on a less important item for your alts, and it will let you skip a timeline, max the stability, and kill the boss to level your alt. You can only find these in level 100 zones, so it’s mostly for second characters and won’t ruin any races.
