Susan Sarandon‘s daughter Eva Amurri has clapped back at critics who were left ‘scandalized’ by her low-cut wedding dress.
The 39-year-old actress and lifestyle blogger took to Instagram on Monday to share several images from her wedding to chef Ian Hock, which took place on Saturday, describing her nuptials as ‘the most special day filled with so much love’.
However, at the same time, the mother-of-three hit out at critics of her bustier-style Kim Kassas wedding gown – taking aim at those who said her breasts should have been ‘put away’.
Sharing a photo of herself and Hock, she wrote, ‘And to anyone scandalized by my breasts not being “put away”…’ before adding a close up shot of her cleavage with the caption, ‘feel free to screenshot this for later’ along with a kiss emoji.
Amurri purchased the corseted design at Bridal Reflections in New York City, and told People of her gown, ‘I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance.’

‘I love how it has a vintage feel and is ultra feminine without being overly pouffy,’ she added.
She paired the dress with a long veil for extra glamour.
Following the ceremony, she changed into a second look of the night: a minidress, also designed by Kim Kassas, and featuring a feather trim and lace.
‘I paired it with custom Nike Air Force Ones that were embellished with pearls and our wedding date. It felt like Priscilla Presley-meets-street style!’ she told the publication.
Amurri — whom Susan shares with Italian filmmaker Franco Amurri — looked breathtaking in a candid video she shared from her nuptials over the weekend.
She said ‘I do’ to her chef boyfriend of three years at Windrift Hall in New York’s Hudson Valley.
In the video, Eva was seen being walked down the aisle by her eldest son Major, seven, while clad in a breathtaking white dress with a sweeping veil and train.
She joined her loved ones under a wooden gazebo as the ceremony began.
She walked hand-in-hand with her son past a firepit ahead of the alfresco ceremony.
‘We really wanted to center our little family unit in all of it, and make it as much about the kids as it was about us,’ she previously gushed to People.
Of her special day she explained that she and her partner ‘worked with our officiant to craft a ceremony that felt super personal and intimate, and then focused on our second love of life: food!
‘All we really needed was the beautiful atmosphere, our nearest and dearest, and a delicious party,’ she told the outlet.
The happy couple opted to have an intimate wedding of about 40 guests, with her mother famous mother Susan and her ex Tim Robbins present.
The French garden party themed ceremony boasted ‘lots of natural colors that mimic the environment at the estate, with little pops of whimsy with the chamomile flowers and hints of pale green and pale blue.’
‘We wanted to write our own love letters to each other to read as vows, which was so special for us,’ she explained.
‘We also didn’t have any bridal party besides the kids, and it was perfect.
‘Major (Eva’s son) walked me down the aisle, which was an experience I’ll never forget,’ she finished.
The happy couple got engaged in late February of last year.
The mum-of-three opened up about her relationship with the chef in January of 2021 on her blog Happily Eva.
In a post called A Little Love Life Update, she wrote, ‘I’m beyond happy to share with you that I have a wonderful boyfriend in my life! His name is Ian, he’s super loving, creative, handsome and funny, and we have a ton in common.’
‘Ian is a Chef (HOTTT), and we met when I went to eat dinner at his restaurant with a friend. My friend went to high school with him in New York City (Yes, he is a fellow New Yorker!), and he came out of the kitchen to say hi to her’ she continued. ‘We ended up chatting and had an immediate connection and spark.’
‘I followed him on Instagram, and he followed me back. We started chatting, and for a month just really got to know each other well from exchanging messages and laughing together via text,’ she added.
‘We discovered how much we had in common (both foodies, love going to museums, both bookworms, both speak French…and little by little we created a really special friendship. All before even going on a date! By the time he took me to dinner for the first time, I felt SO close to him, and so safe with him, and it was an old-fashioned courtship in a lot of ways.’
Eva is a mother to daughter Marlowe, eight, and sons Major, seven, and Mateo, four, whom she shares with ex-husband Kyle Martino, 43.
The blogger and the former Los Angeles Galaxy soccer star were married from 2011 to 2020.
