Three people shot dead near Pilot Travel Center in North Palm Springs: reports
Three people were found shot dead near the Pilot Travel Center off North Indian Canyon Drive in North Palm Springs on Sunday afternoon, according to broadcast reports.
KESQ-TV reports that two male victims were found deceased with gunshot wounds in a vehicle near the intersection of N Indian Canyon Dr. and Garnet Avenue.
Responding officers also discovered another man under the Interstate 10 overpass with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
An investigation is underway and a portion of North Indian Canyon Drive to turn onto Garnet Avenue remains closed.
