FDA has issued a nationwide recall of over 13 ice cream brands: Here’s the list

Chipwich Birthday Cake ice cream sandwiches.

Totally Cool, a Maryland-based manufacturer of ice cream products, is recalling multiple brands because they have the potential to be contaminated with listeria.

The recalled ice cream products were distributed nationwide, and available in retail locations and direct delivery, according to an announcement from the FDA. More than 60 products including ice cream cakes, pints, and ice cream cones were affected.

Here are the 13 ice cream brands being recalled

  • ChipWich
  • Marco
  • Jeni’s (ice cream sandwiches)
  • Friendly’s
  • Abilyn’s Frozen Bakery
  • Hershey’s Ice Cream
  • Yelloh!
  • Cumberland Farms
  • The Frozen Farmer
  • AMAFruits
  • Taharka
  • Dolcezza Gelato
  • LaSalle

The FDA has published a list of the impacted products on its website.

No illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers who have recalled products in their possession are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
