I can’t sew at the age of 30 and this 8-year-old guy from the US is already making strides in the glamourous world of fashion. Yes, that’s right!
Max Alexander, an 8-year-old fashion designer
Meet Max Alexander, a young fashion star from the Los Angeles who’s shaking up the fashion scene, all thanks to social media and his incredible skills. With a whopping 2.8 million followers on Instagram (@couture.to.the.max), he’s being hailed as the “youngest fashion designer” online.
Max’s journey into fashion began at the tender age of four when he began to sew, purely from a dream he had. Despite having no prior exposure to fashion, he dove right in and started designing.
Now, at just eight years old, he’s wowing everyone with his stunning creations and even scoring commissions from celebrities like Sharon Stone!
Story of the “youngest fashion designer”
Max’s mom, who helps him manage his Instagram, shared how it all began. One evening, at the age of four, Max declared over dinner that he was a dressmaker and needed a mannequin. So, his mother made him his first mannequin using a cardboard.
With just some scraps from his mom’s studio, he crafted his first big dress, leaving everyone amazed.
In interviews, Max has shared his dreams of becoming a famous designer, even likening himself to luxury brand Gucci. “I knew I was Gucci,” he opened up about his dream.
By age five, he was already strutting his stuff with his very own fashion show. Max learned to sew from his mom and local professionals, and his skills have only flourished since then.
Now, Max’s designs are selling all around the world, with fans clamoring for more.
Despite his young age, he’s proving that talent knows no bounds. Max’s story is one of determination, passion, and a whole lot of creativity. And as he continues to soar, there’s no telling where his fashion journey will take him next!
