7 Amazon Fashion Finds I Wore on Vacation That Didn’t Take Up Too Much Space in My Suitcase — Starting at $14

Packing for vacation can be overwhelming, especially if you’re only taking a carry-on suitcase and a small duffel bag — which is all I had with me for my 18-day trip last summer. 

Along with my passport and plug adapters, cute and comfortable outfits were a big priority on my Europe packing list. I browsed Amazon’s fashion section for styles that would be easy to mix and match (and fit in my luggage), and many standout selections are from The Drop, which is one of my favorite brands to shop for trendy and affordable pieces.

Raincoat Satin High-Waisted Midi Skirt

My destination was extremely hot, so light and breezy styles were a must. And since I love a good midi skirt, I ordered this gold-colored satin one. The material was super soft and lightweight, making it the first thing I reached for when we arrived. With some strategic packing (I laid the skirt flat as a last layer in my suitcase), it didn’t get too wrinkly.

I also whipped out my JW Pei bag on the trip, a bag Selena Gomez has carried. It’s surprisingly spacious given its small silhouette. It was also easy to pack around — since the handle is structured, I could easily stuff my socks between it.  

Amazon Essentials Drawstring Linen Blend Short, $24 (Save 5%)

There was no way I was traveling without my favorite linen shorts, which have been in my closet for two summers now. I wore them when the temperatures were less than ideal, and they were also great for traveling via ferry while island hopping. The shorts have a relaxed fit and a 5-inch inseam, so they’ve never felt too short or uncomfortable.

I’m a big fan of halter styles and square necklines, and this top from The Drop has both. Though it has more of a cropped silhouette, it was perfect to wear with my high-waisted linen pants for a cute and comfortable look for sightseeing. I own it in black, too.
