Labor Day, or the unofficial end to summer, offers a chance for a final getaway before fall arrives with cooler temperatures and shorter days.

And there may be more good news – Labor Day is also a time when you can find good travel deals. Here’s a look at six inexpensive places to travel for the holiday weekend.

Orlando, Florida

If you want to avoid the big crowds (and heat) in Orlando during the height of summer, Labor Day may be your chance to explore the city with fewer crowds.

Washington, D.C.

Why not round out your summer with a trip to the nation’s capital? You may be surprised by how affordable this trip can be during the Labor Day weekend.
