Memorial Day, a holiday to commemorate Americans who died while serving in the military, falls on the last Monday of May each year. In 2024, Memorial Day falls on Monday. May 27. The three-day weekend starts on Friday, May 24, and marks the unofficial start of summer with barbecues and other outdoor celebrations.
