2 Towns is seeking a successful candidate who can perform strategic procurement activities, including overseeing purchasing activities, supporting, identifying, and monitoring priorities, deadlines, and expectations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing of quality products.
While pursuing effective relationships with others, this position proactively provides resources, information, advice, and expertise to internal and external partners. The Procurement Manager will adapt to and learn from change, challenges, and feedback, demonstrate flexibility in work style, and help others adapt to new tasks and processes while supporting and responding to the needs of others to support a business outcome.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Maintain relationships with existing vendors, address any issues or concerns, and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and vet potential suppliers, vendors, and distributors for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies.
- Analyze purchasing trends, pricing fluctuations, and market conditions to identify cost savings and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Prepare budget forecasts and cost projections for purchasing expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial goals and operational needs.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels for operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Must be 21 or older
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of equivalent work experience that provides the knowledge and skills necessary for performing tasks proficiently
- Leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Proven working experience as a Procurement manager
- Experience with negotiation and networking
- Proficiency in inventory management software, purchasing systems, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand (according to preference) for long periods of time while using a computer. A majority of the work is sedentary. Some tasks require lifting and moving boxes up to 35 lbs.

Compensation Benefits:
This is an exempt position with a salary range of $55,000 – $75,000. The salary range is negotiable depending on experience placement within the range, which will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
